The third installment in the Harry Potter prequel series is called Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore's Secrets, and the release date has been pushed back from July 15 to April 15, 2022. The film was originally supposed to hit the theaters in 2021, but the date was later postponed due to the pandemic.
The official synopsis reads:
Professor Albus Dumbledore is well aware that the powerful dark magician Gellert Grindelwald intends to seize power over the world of magic. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts the magician Newt Scamander to lead his own team, consisting of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker. They must complete a dangerous mission while facing monsters old and new and the growing legion of Grindelwald's followers. The stakes are too high. How long can the professor stay away?
The success of the title is quite expected.
