Some time ago, The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition was released - a remaster of the original RPG, which the players did not really like. More precisely, no one liked it at all, the novelty caused a flurry of criticism towards the developers.
Dozens of angry reviews are posted on the game page on Steam , in which users actively criticize the creators for the lack of optimization. According to the players, even on the most powerful systems, the game manages to lag, slow down and crash. Most of all, gamers are annoyed by the fact that even the owners of the original version are offered to buy the new edition at full price, and not upgrade at least at a discount.
It is worth recalling that the development of the remaster was not carried out by the Obsidian studio, but by some third-party development team. Perhaps this is where the root of the problem lies.
