Rumors: E3 2023 may not take place

The IGN portal team spoke to a number of reputable publications and resources that claim that there are high chances that E3 2023 will be cancelled. Previously, the event lost such major participants as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and others, and now representatives of Tencent and SEGA have announced their desire not to attend the exhibition.

As noted in the source, over time, even more companies will follow the example of their colleagues and also refuse to participate in E3. IGN claims that event organizers ReedPop and ESA barely communicate with potential attendees, and none of the latter have 100% confirmed their presence at the show.

Recall that in previous years, E3 was also not held, and the reason for this was a well-known sore. 2023 was supposed to be the period of the return of the event to the masses, but, apparently, it will not work out.
