Tango Gameworks, currently developing Ghostwire: Tokyo , is already working on a new title. For sure it will be The Evil Within 3 .
During the recent Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 presentation, Tango Gameworks co-founder Shinji Mikami announced out of the blue that the developers are already working on their next game. In particular, according to Mikami, the famous John Yohanas, who once gave us The Evil Within 2, has returned to business.
Right now, John is actively working on a new game.
However, Mikami did not go into any details, and did not even give hints about what Johanas' next game could be. However, I have no doubt that we are talking about The Evil Within 3.
As for Ghostwire: Tokyo, the first-person horror adventure is still being developed for PS5. It was previously planned to be released at the end of 2021, but then postponed to 2022. Probably the next project will be developed for PC and Xbox, since Tango belongs to Bethesda, which was bought out by Microsoft at the end of 2020.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
