The creators of the anime series based on the game NieR: Automata have recently released several episodes of the first season dedicated to the plot of the project. However, we have already been informed that the story will continue in the format of the second season, which is already in development.
Most likely, the next 10-12 episodes will cover the second part of the game's plot and the canonical ending of the story. Recall that the central idea of the story is the struggle of several androids with the robots that have occupied the Earth, which humanity is trying to expel from its world in order to repopulate the planet.
