Despot's Game: Dystopian Army Builder , a tactical roguelike from Konfa Games and indie label tinyBuild that pits armies of miserable humans in a post-apocalyptic maze, is out on Steam Early Access.
In the distant future, the last remnants of humanity are locked in a deadly labyrinth - without food, clothing or even memories. They have to unite and go through the dungeon, fighting robots, carnivorous cabbages, hellhounds and other creatures of d'Spot, artificial intelligence and the enslaver of mankind.
Naked and miserable people need weapons to survive. You can arm your squad with everything that comes to hand: from chainsaws and laser swords to refrigerators and uniforms of Japanese schoolgirls. Weapons and items give a person a certain combat class, and successful battles require a well-thought-out and balanced army - capable of both withstanding a direct attack by a horde of zombies and throwing enemies with callous pretzels. And mutations that can be used to strengthen your team add even more tactical options.
Pitiful humans fight battles on their own, without the player's involvement - so special attention must be paid to both equipment and troop placement: charlatan conjurers, magical girls and plasma rifle wielders will be able to position themselves in the back rows, while melee fighters, such as the owner Rocky Gloves, Coffin Carrier and Sisyphus Stone Roller, need direct access to enemies. It is also important to supply the detachment with food in time - both purchased in the dungeons and processed from unnecessary people.
And for those who can get through the deadly labyrinth to the end, a real test awaits: the battle with the armies of other players!
Despot's Game: Dystopian Army Builder is available now on Steam Early Access for $360 / $14.99. On the release, in addition to Russian and English, 8 localizations are also available.
