The creator of the series of games about Prince of Persia, Jordan Mechner, said that the Ubisoft studio, at some point, was developing Prince of Persia 3. The project was in production until 2019, but then for some reason it was canceled.
Mechner does not know the reasons for this decision, but he regrettably claims that this is the second time that a title with this name has been closed. The first time Prince of Persia 3 was planned to be released back in 1993, then they wanted to give it a second chance, but it didn’t work out.
