The GTA 6 presentation set a new record for the most likes among all trailers on YouTube. The video for the new part of the franchise reached an impressive 10,868 million likes.
The GTA 6 trailer has now surpassed the previous record set by the trailer of the Indian film Dil Bechara, which had 10,862 million likes. This success makes the first GTA 6 video the highest likes among games, movies and entertainment content on the YouTube platform.
This isn't the first record for the GTA 6 trailer. Within 24 hours of its release, it set records as the most viewed non-musical video on YouTube, the most viewed first video in the gaming category (according to the Guinness Book of World Records), and the highest rated trailer on the platform.
The release of GTA 6 is scheduled for 2025 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
