The creators of Overwatch 2 are making a system that will open access to new characters to all players from the start

Jared Noyce, who serves as an executive producer at Blizzard, said that in the future the company will develop a system that will open access to new heroes in Overwatch 2 to all players from the moment the character appears in the game.

At the current stage, owners of a paid battle pass can play for new heroes a few days earlier than others. Apparently, users were finally able to persuade the developers to simplify this element, which smacked of pay-2-win mechanics. Noyce did not specify what kind of system this is, and when exactly it will be implemented in the game.

Well, in order for Blizzard to come up with this idea, it only took a few years to support the first part of the shooter and still go through 7 seasons in the second part.
