On December 27, 2023 , Honkai: Star Rail received a major update, version 1.6. In this update, the developers introduced a new location called “Isolation Zone” and three new heroes. These heroes include two five-star characters - Ruan Mei and Doctor Ratio, and one four-star character - Xuei.
The game also features new elements including Light Cones, Missions, Enemies, and Challenges. To celebrate the release of the update, a special event called “Hunt for Exotic Pets” has begun. A full list of changes made to the game with the latest update is available on the game's official website.
Starting January 17, 2024, Honkai: Star Rail players will be able to obtain the Doctor Ratio character for free. To do this, they will need to complete the Mastery mission called “A Moment of Universal Calm”, located in the orbit of Sineva, and unlock the in-game mail. The ability to pick up this character will be available until the end of version 2.1 of the game.
