Speaking to Kotaku, Ubisoft Massive's Navid Khavari revealed new aspects of Star Wars Outlaws. The game takes place on the planets of the Outer Rim, including the familiar Tatooine and Avika, as well as new locations such as the sand moon of Toshara, where criminals rule.
The main character, Kay Vess, is a burglar, and Toshara becomes her hideout. Khavari emphasized that in the game, the player can explore different paths that affect his reputation among the crime syndicates and the tasks provided by the factions. The structure of the game world is divided into populated cities and cantinas, remote areas for exploration and outer space accessible for travel on the Pathfinder ship.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, taking place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
