The authors of Apex Legends are accused of actively using AI

Fans of the game Apex Legends have accused employees of the Respawn Entertainment studio of abusing the use of artificial intelligence in their battle royale.

Hints about the use of neural networks appeared after the announcement of a new collaboration with FF7 Rebirth. The trailer shows footage of characters wearing the new skins having obvious problems with their arms (this is the main problem with the AI, which is unable to generate limbs efficiently). Players are convinced that the developers are saving on artists in this way and making hack work under the guise of current events.

Respawn has not yet officially responded to the accusations.
