There has
been a rumor circulating online that Konami is working on a remake of the
original Metal Gear Solid. The information was provided by the Areajugones
portal, which previously successfully leaked information about the add-on for God
of War.
According
to the source, Konami has been working on the remake for some time, but it is
not the first priority yet. For now, the publisher plans to release a remake of
the 3rd part of the series, and then begin to work closely on earlier releases.
In the description of the new Metal Gear Solid, only the PS5 platform is
indicated so far.
There is no
information about which team is directly involved in development (Konami itself
is only financing this event).
The information was also confirmed by another reliable source.
The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
