A remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag appears to be in development

Insiders, following the work of Ubisoft studio, note that part of the staff is now working on the remake of the cult Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

According to the sources, they have started working on the game in the fall of 2023. At this point, Ubisoft has transferred part of the staff from the pirate action Skull and Bones to a certain yet unannounced project in the Assassin's Creed franchise. The existence of this project was previously reported by Kotaku portal, whose information was later confirmed by a well-known insider Tom Henderson.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag remake has not been officially announced yet. If the work on it is underway, the release of the game is still a long time to wait.
