Insider Dusk Golem reports that Capcom Studios has approved the development of two remakes of the Resident Evil franchise back in 2023.
Most likely one of them is a re-release of Resident Evil 5, which was the most popular answer in a questionnaire that came to some users' inboxes. Capcom wanted to know which game fans would like to see updated after the release of the remake of part 4 and, quite logically, it was the next installment in the series.
In addition, Dusk Golem said that the studio has a large number of franchise games in the works. Probably, there is a full-fledged sequel among them.
The information was also confirmed by another reliable source.
The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
