Entertainment Weekly interviewed director Johannes Roberts, who is in charge of filming the film adaptation of the famous horror film Resident Evil: Raccoon City. One of the questions was related to the Tyrant, whose absence Johannes explained as a desire to preserve the integrity of the narrative.
During the interview, the filmmaker said that he literally grew up on classic Capcom horror films and emphasized that they were based on the works of Stephen King and John Carpenter. The audience will definitely see the motives and spirit of these paintings in Resident Evil: Raccoon City.
The director also spoke about his love for games, but, unfortunately, he did not have time to get a new PS5 yet. According to Roberts, the degree of nightmare he saw in Resident Evil 2 Remake is in line with what he would like to see in his picture.
The premiere of the film is scheduled for November 25.
