Huang Zhenxun, the founder and CEO of Nvidia, believes that the first games fully generated by artificial intelligence will appear in 5-10 years.
The reason to think so is the rather rapid development of neural networks, which are already able to generate text, pictures and even video. Nvidia itself is already actively working on improving AI for non-player characters, which in future games will be able to respond to what is happening around and the actions of the player in real time.
Well, we wait and watch, and fear that soon AI will start pushing game developers out of the market, doing their work for pennies.
