The series will explore American society before nuclear war, human behavior in the face of such a threat, and the role of Volt-Tec and the Red Menace. The first seven minutes of the first episode, according to journalists' reviews, are devoted to this aspect.

The premiere of the Fallout television series is scheduled for April 11, 2024.
