A job posting published by EA hints that the upcoming Iron Man game from Motive Studios, known for the Dead Space remake, will include a large open world.
Similar information has previously surfaced regarding a Black Panther game in development, where an open world was also mentioned. Apparently, both projects are being developed on a similar concept. The job posting for the Iron Man project indicates a search for a senior technical artist to work on a AAA open-world action-adventure game.
The Iron Man game has been announced for 2022 as a new single-player action-adventure game with a third-person view. Olivier Proux, who previously worked on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, is leading the development team.
The game's release likely won't happen until 2026.
The film will premiere on July 26, 2024.
Sales of the game have exceeded expectations! More games are in the pipeline.
Hellblade 3 will have to wait, though, as we're talking about an entirely new franchise.
