Details of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

CD Projekt RED has previously announced that it will be expanding the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Right now, the company is developing several different projects, including comics and add-ons for role-playing action.

In June 2020, a new project was announced - an anime called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which will be available on the Netflix platform. After this announcement, the developers did not share any details. We tell everything we know about Cyberpunk: Edgerunners banim.

The Edgerunners project promises to be interesting, as Studio Trigger is developing it. Her previous work received quite high marks. Written by Yoshiki Usa (Dance of Swords) and Masahiko Otsuka (Evangelion). Directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Kill la Kill, Evangelion) and Hiromi Wakabayashi (Star Wars: Visions).

The famous Japanese composer Akira Yamaoka will record the soundtrack for the project. It was he who was the author of all the music in the Silent Hill games.

The history of the anime is not related to Cyberpunk 2077. The creators hope that the viewers of the show will be able to better explore the Cyberpunk universe.
