NeocoreGames announced that an optional offline mode will appear in the role-playing action game Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr on May 23. Previously, the game required a constant Internet connection.
Now players will be able to select offline mode from the main menu when launching the game. However, for those who prefer to stay online, online play will remain available. The developers clarified that transferring characters and progress between online and offline modes is not possible. In offline mode, users will not be able to take advantage of seasonal content, online play, leaderboards and social features.
NeocoreGames also reminded that an add-on with a new class — Hierophant — will be released soon. The exact release date is still unknown, but the developers promise that it will happen soon.
