Thunderful Games has released a fresh quarterly report, confirming that action-platformer Replaced is still planned for the second half of 2024.
The game was unveiled in 2021 with an initial release plan of 2022, but it was later pushed back to 2023. Earlier, the developers at Sad Cat Studios announced that they had raised a $5 million investment that will be used to release Replaced in 2024 as well as produce new games. The investment came from international company GEM Capital.
Replaced is a sci-fi 2.5D retro-futuristic platformer set in an alternate 1980s America. The game combines dynamic battles and a deep dystopian plot. The main character is R.E.A.C.H. — an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body, trying to adapt to life among humans in Phoenix.
Replaced will be released on PC and Xbox. The game will be available on Game Pass upon release. The project is being developed by the Belarus-based Sad Cat Studios.
This is an action movie based on Game of Thrones.
