In 2023, the game Life by You was announced, developed by Paradox Interactive in the genre of a life simulator similar to The Sims. However, the game's release was delayed several times. Life by You was last delayed indefinitely to May 2024 when the team said it needed more time for improvements and polish. The project was conceived as one of the most flexible and easily modifiable life simulators, allowing players to create their own scenarios and dialogues.
