The daily audience of the space simulator on Steam has increased significantly after the release of a major update. Interest in No Man's Sky among Steam users increased sharply after the release of the Worlds Part 1 update. On July 21, 2024, the number of concurrent players in the game reached 48.8 thousand - this is the best figure since August 2019.

A month before the update, an average of only 5-9 thousand players entered the game at the same time. At the time of publication of this material, No Man's Sky had more than 24 thousand Steam users. The developers managed to attract a large number of players not only thanks to innovations, but also thanks to a 60% discount. Until July 29, 2024, No Man's Sky can be purchased for 760 rubles instead of 1,900 rubles.

The Worlds Part 1 update, released on July 17, added weather effects, new monsters, and a fourteenth expedition to the game. In the future, the developers plan to release the second part of this patch, but the exact date is still unknown.
