Ubisoft has unveiled a remake of Splinter Cell , which is being developed on the Snowdrop engine, which was used to create the co-op shooter The Division .
The developers and authors of the original game will use the latest technology to create the best gameplay and incredible visuals.
Released back in 2002, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell boasts a lot of positive reviews from critics and gamers. Ubisoft subsequently released several sequels, but no information about the series has surfaced since 2013. The character Sam Fisher has appeared in other titles in the game.
A release date for the remake of the original Splinter Cell has yet to be announced.
