ZZZ 1.1 preload has started

Right now, fans of the game can download some of the assets used in the update. On PC, you need to download 12 GB, on Android and iOS - 8 GB each.

Update 1.1 for Zenless Zone Zero will focus on the New Eridu Public Security Service, introducing new plot elements related to the investigation. As part of this update, two police officers from the Special Branch will become available as playable characters.

New characters and banners

Version 1.1 will add three new playable characters:

• Jane Doe (anomaly, physical damage) - a mysterious tyren cat who hides her true identity.
• Qingyi (intimidation, electro) - an agent from the New Eridu Public Security Service, who was already mentioned in the main plot as Zhu Yuan's partner.
• Seth Lowell (defense, electro) - an epic character representing the local police department.

Qingyi will be available in the first temporary banner from August 14 to September 3, Jane Doe and Seth Lowell will appear in the second banner from September 3 to September 24. These characters will only be available during these periods, at least until their next reappearance.

Quests and Events in ZZZ 1.1

While the continuation of the main story has not yet been announced, a new chapter will appear in the game related to the activities of the Public Security Service. Qingyi and Jane Doe will receive their own quests.

The Zero Cave will get a new permanent battle mode, in which there will be no movement on "TVs". Several temporary events are also planned:

• Login events with rewards in the form of 10 "spins" for the event banner and the banbu banner.
• Photo event, in which you will need to take pictures of the characters.
• An event that allows you to try yourself in the role of the sheriff.
• An event with the restoration of damaged video tapes in the store.

Other innovations

The update will also introduce a new location — the police station, and a new rare assistant — police officer Tsui — will become available in the banbu banner. In addition, version 1.1 will add new versions of the amplifier weapon.
