The Sims will be adapted into a movie

Kate Herron, who directed the first season of the series Loki, will be producing a film adaptation of the game franchise The Sims.

She will lead the team at Amazon MGM Studios, which will collaborate with LuckyChap and Vertigo Entertainment on the new project. For the film adaptation, the authors will have to come up with an original plot, since in the games from EA there is no such thing.

The premiere of the film adaptation does not yet have a clear date.
