Valve Studio has released an update for the shooter Counter-Strike 2 aimed at cheaters.
After the patch was released, a number of users were banned for a whole year for using an exploit on armor stars. The vulnerability allowed violators to receive a large amount of this in-game currency, for which they could get unique skins for weapons.
The issued bans prohibit not only playing Counter-Strike 2, but also trading on the Steam platform.
An incredible success for the studio's debut project.
In short, the company is aware of the problem and is solving it.
It will be an animated prequel series.
