Lucasfilm Plans to Make New Star Wars Trilogy

Lucasfilm management intends to shoot a new Star Wars trilogy.

It is reported that Simon Kinberg, who previously worked as a screenwriter for the X-Men franchise, will direct the projects. He will also write the story for the star trilogy, and Lucasfilm director Kathleen Kennedy will help him with this.

It is reported that Kinberg has already worked on projects in the Star Wars world. He was a consultant to the creators of the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens and participated in the creation of the Star Wars Rebels series.
