Insider Tom Henderson reports that Ubisoft is completely remaking its new shooter called Project U.
According to the source, the developers came to the conclusion that the game needs to be remade after internal tests. They decided not to cancel the title, as Ubisoft wants to repeat the success of Helldivers 2. The main problem with Project U was poor replayability, as well as an overly inflated budget.
According to Henderson, the game is currently being worked on by a small team that is remaking it from scratch. Thus, it is definitely not worth talking about the release of the project in the near future.
