No Russophobic content has been found in the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 yet. State Duma deputy Anton Gorelkin reported in his Telegram channel that the developers had encountered many problems, pointing out the presence of a large number of bugs.

According to him, some sources call the game "absolutely unplayable", comparing it to the unsuccessful release of Cyberpunk 2077.

Gorelkin also mentioned that his subscribers suggested removing "possible extremist elements" from the game, adding Russian voice acting and selling the product on the VK Play platform, directing the proceeds to the needs of a special military operation. He expressed the opinion that it is worth waiting with these actions, at least until the release of the first patch.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was released on November 20 on Windows and Xbox Series X/S platforms. At the time of release, the online on Steam exceeded 100 thousand players, setting a new record for this series.

The game's average Metacritic score is 74 out of 100 based on 52 reviews. At the same time, user reviews on Steam are marked as "very positive": 80% of the 5.7 thousand players who left ratings were satisfied with the game. Among the main shortcomings, many gamers mention performance issues.

In Russia, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 cannot be officially purchased, and the game does not have Russian voice acting. The project was developed by the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, which is currently located in the Czech Republic. The creators of the game support the Ukrainian armed forces and condemn Russia's actions in Ukraine.

Earlier, Anton Gorelkin stated that the game could be "banned in Russia" if, after its release, extremism, justification of terrorism, or incitement of ethnic hatred are found in it.
