OpenAI Launches AI to Run in User Browser

The OpenAI team announced the launch of their new service called Operator. It will allow users to delegate work in the browser to AI, which will perform all sorts of routine tasks for you.

For example, you can instruct the bot to order food or purchase tickets at the airport. The Operator will work in a separate browser tab in offline mode, while you can intervene in its activities at any time. Sometimes the Operator will require your attention, for example, when it is necessary to enter payment information. By the way, as OpenAI stated, the AI will not save the entered data, so you don’t have to worry about security.

For now, the service is only available in the US to a number of selected users, but later this year it will be available to all the company’s clients.
