Firefly intends to end support for Stronghold: Warlords soon with a final update.
The event will take place on January 25, the day the free update 1.10 and the paid DLC The Warrior Queen will be released, which will add new missions for the historical campaign, a couple of new generals and an expanded list of achievements.
The free update will also boast as many as two dozen new missions, maps, and other content.
Those wishing to purchase the paid DLC will have to pay $5. Among other things, everyone will be able to purchase an improved edition of the Ultimate Edition, which will include all the updates that have been released to Stronghold: Warlords since the game's release.
