Zakhar Bocharov, who holds the post of PR-manager of GSC Game World, spoke in an interview with the author of the YouTube channel "It doesn't matter who" about the current state of the game STALKER 2 . Not so long ago it became known that the developers decided to postpone the release of new items to December, but, according to a company representative, the project is doing well.
Mr. Bocharov said that the sequel to their story has retained the spirit of the original game and will not slide into mysticism. The developers will do their best to finalize the functionality for adding mods by the release (this desire, among other things, influenced the postponement of the release date to a later date). All funds received by the studio from pre-orders will be reinvested in the production and support of STALKER 2 itself. It was also planned to send proceeds from the sale of NFT tokens there, however, due to the negative reaction of the community, this aspect had to be reconsidered.
Recall that STALKER 2 is released on December 8 this year. You can watch the full transcript of the interview below.
