Microids is pursuing two Agatha Christie games: one is a 'brand new adventure'

Microids is developing two new games based on the stories and worlds of Agatha Christie.

According to French publisher Microids , the studio will "transport players into the universe of detective Hercule Poirot with a reimagining of the classics, as well as an entirely new adventure." Thus, we can safely assume that one of the new titles contains a completely new, previously untold story.

It is reported that both games are being developed by different studios, although now the publisher is ready to share the name of one of them. This is Microids Studio Lyon. This studio continues its work after the previous "successful collaboration" between the companies - Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders and Agatha Christie Hercule Poirot: The First Cases.

James Pritchard, Chairman and CEO of Agatha Christie Limited stated:

It's great to see how, 100 years after my great-grandmother's first novel was published, her stories and characters are still enjoyed all over the world, in different formats, including games. We are excited to continue our relationship with the Microids team and look forward to developing these two new games featuring Hercule Poirot.

Then added David Chomar, director of Microids Studio Lyon:

The works of Agatha Christie are timeless and equally captivate all generations of lovers of investigations and mysteries. We really want to tell you more about the project we are about to start working on.
