Scarlet Nexus Walkthrough - Action RPG Guide

A detailed guide to all story missions, gameplay basics, collectibles, bosses and side quests in the Scarlet Nexus action.

At the beginning of the game, you are offered a tutorial. Here are the main keys that you will use during the game:

• W, S, A, D - character movement
• SHIFT - acceleration, run
• Shift + W, S, A, D - Dodge to the side. A well-timed dodge is called perfect, and slows down time, as well as opens up opportunities for various combos.
• Spacebar - jump
• Q - target lock or disable target lock
• LMB - main weapon attack
• RMB - telekinesis attack (throw item)
• LMB + Space - An attack from below that knocks enemies into the air.
• LMB + RMB - attack with the main weapon, rebound and throw an object
• C + RMB - spin attack, dodge and throw an object
• C - circle attack, spin attack
• J and L - switch between targets with active lock

The following features will be unlocked later:

• G - throw a powerful item
• 6 and 7 - switching between consumables (in the lower left corner)
• T or mouse wheel - consumable application
• 1, 2, 3, 4 - using SAS abilities
• P - open character menu with different tabs

Prologue: Reunion

Follow the marker, after the cut-scene, leave the surroundings of the tomb and go to the cafe. Fight enemies until a huge ram appears. Here, for the first time, you will be told about the throwing of special items. When throwing vending machines, after holding G, you need to press both A and D at the same time. If you throw barrels, then hold W.

How to beat the Oil Thrower Trawler

At the end, you need to defeat the boss - Oil Thrower Trawler. Wait for him to jump on you (stay clear), dodge to Shift with the A or D key, and then hold G to drop pipes on the boss. Moreover, you need to stand under the suspended pipes so that the boss jumps towards you and ends up right under them. Onlythen the G key will become active. Drop all four sets of pipes on the enemy to win and complete the quest.
