Walkthrough Drifting Cavern Middle in Zenless Zone Zero

This order will help you get acquainted with the mechanics of the level and teach you how to use the moving boxes to press the blue buttons and unlock passages. The following route will allow you to collect all the chests and resources.

Get to the 2nd floor of the cavern

First floor:

Follow the route shown in the screenshot to push the first box onto the button and unlock the cage with the question mark.

Grab the purple chest and move to the rift in the lower right corner to go to the second floor.

Get to the 3rd floor of the cavern

Second floor:

Take a step up, then move left and push the box to the wall.

Go down and grab the purple chest, then push the box up to the blue button.

Once the box is in place, turn right, grab the second purple chest, and go up to the rift to get to the third floor.

Defeat the Ethereals on the third floor of the cavern

Third floor:

To pass the floor and get to the exit, you need to push two boxes onto the buttons.

First, go left and grab the purple chest.

Then go down and put the first box in place.

Take one step to the right, two steps up, and two steps to the right so that the second box takes up position on the blue button.

After that, go down, grab the golden chest, and go to the exit.

To complete the order, defeat the Ethereals on the finish cell.

Hard order Drifting Cave: Middle 

The hard order will be unlocked after completing the normal one. To get the maximum rank and rewards, you need to collect 5 AIC data samples.

HIA Data Sample #1

First Floor:

Go straight to the rift in the lower right corner to get to the second floor of the cavern. The crates need to be brought from there.

Grab the AIC Data Sample, then step up, right, and up again to get the first crate into the rift.

Move left, up, left, and down to get the second crate to the first floor.

HIA Data Sample #2

First Floor:

Jump after the crate and follow the second AIC Data Sample through the unlocked cage.

After grabbing it, jump back to the second floor through the rift in the lower left corner.

HIA Data Sample #3

Second Floor:

Grab the third AIC Data Sample, then go straight to the rift, which will take you to the third floor.

HIA Data Sample #4-5

Third Tier:

To collect the remaining samples and reach the finish line, you need to push three boxes onto the buttons.

Go up and pick up the fourth AIC data sample.

From there, go right and push the first box into place.

Go down, left, down, and right to get the second box onto the blue button.

Step down, left, and down to pick up the fifth AIC data sample.

From there, go left to push the last box into place, and return to the finish line through the cell where the sample was.

Defeat the Ethereals on the finish cell to complete the order.
