Split Fiction Walkthrough
Chapter 1
Move along
the technical corridor, jumping over obstacles and climbing up the hills. From
the very beginning of the game, you will have access to a double jump, which
will allow you to easily overcome cracks in the floor. Soon you will master the
skill of running on walls and get the ability to accelerate. Moving further,
wait for the moment when the fiery grates close, and quickly run past them.
To activate
the elevator, both characters must interact with the control device at the same
time. When the bomber appears, use dashes to get out of the mines' range in
time. Remember that you lose if both heroines die at the same time. Eventually,
the enemy will be destroyed, and you will be able to continue along the
alternating platforms. It is important to combine a double jump and an air dash
for confident progress.
Use the hook
to grab onto special points and pull yourself up to them. At the rotating
energy barrier, one character must hold the lever on the console while the
other jumps through the gap in the shield. On the opposite side is a similar
mechanism that must be activated. Then both characters must stand on different
panels to press them and open the gate, and then use the hook to pull
themselves inside.

Climb higher
and higher, clinging to the yellow poles. In certain places, you will need to
go down them and then use the left movement. Later, the poles will start
moving, making the task more difficult. Interact with the control mechanism:
each character must rotate the handle at the moment when the slider is in the
center of the scale. Dodge the laser beams until the platform collapses. When
the fall begins, head into the water.
Once
underwater, swim forward to get inside the object. Wait for the moment when the
platforms shrink, and jump on them. Use a combination of a hook, a dash, and a
double jump to move quickly. Climb the yellow ladder and move further, jumping
on the moving blocks. When you reach a locked door, open it with joint efforts.
Run towards
the attack aircraft, jumping over obstacles and using the grappling hook. One
of the heroines will be at the controls, and the second will take a place at
the turret. At this point, the pilot must avoid collisions with objects, and
the gunner must destroy the pursuing ships.
Run away
from the ogres, trying not to get hit by the barrels rolling down the mountain.
When you reach the wooden platform, climb onto it. If you fall, keep moving
until you end up in the water. Use the holes in the grates that appear after
the ogres collide with them to get further.
Inside the
tower, climb the pillar, using dashes to speed up and avoiding the spinning
traps. At the top, climb out and jump into the haystack. Then duck and go
through a narrow hole that will lead you to an area with boxes. There are two
ogres here.
Go around
the obstacles on the right, using lemons as a distraction. One character should
throw a lemon at the closest enemy, forcing both to look in the same direction
while the other slips past. Then switch roles, using the other lemon crate to
distract the second ogre. Run along the path and climb up the crates.
Jump on the
pillars above the central area filled with ogres. It is important to use the
flagpole carried by two ogres to cross the area. Then, together, push the
massive crate. A cutscene will show a rift leading further.
Continue to
escape from your pursuers, climbing up wooden poles and moving higher. The main
thing is to prevent both heroines from dying at the same time!
Chapter 2. Neon Revenge
The heroines
get their first tools. One of them gets a whip that allows her to attract
objects, and the other one gets a sword to destroy objects. To complete the
level, use the whip to pull the panel by the door, then cut the purple wires
with the sword and use the gravity whip to lift objects.
Mio can be
attracted to the purple panels and then cut the cable holding the platform.
This will allow Zoe to jump to the other side with the whip. Zoe must then move
the container so Mio can climb onto it. Then move the container together to
help Mio jump over the moving obstacles. After that, she will break the purple
grid and Zoe will destroy the boxes inside the container.
While moving
through the acid zone, Mio must jump using the panels, and Zoe must run along
the wall. Next, rip off the panel and cut the wires at the gate. Use your sword
to break the glass behind which the rotating cylinders are hidden. Mio must be
pulled to the panels and move to the other side. Then open the pipe on the left
so that Zoe can throw trash inside, stopping the mechanism.
Move along
the corridors, overcoming obstacles and activating mechanisms. Inside the
ventilation shaft, use the whip to move the valves. Mio must destroy the purple
containers, moving further.
Use the
city's transportation as platforms, timing your jumps. When Zoe is at the jump
pad, Mio must strike the activating mechanism with her sword. Zoe can then move
the crane to help Mio across the gap.
Inside the
truck, climb the rotating blocks, avoiding contact with the acid. Mio breaks
through the door, and then both girls climb the ladder. On their way, they will
encounter fasteners that need to be pulled by Zoe in turn. After that, Mio will
destroy the purple part, allowing Zoe to move the ladder to the right.
The final
stage is a battle with enemy forces. Use the sword, whip and hook to attack.
When the flying machine appears, Mio must activate the purple gate, releasing
barrels that Zoe will accurately throw at the enemy.
Turn on the techno!
When the
next part of the game starts, you will find yourself next to a bubble that
triggers the side quest "The Legend of the Sandfish". You can
complete it or ignore it, but keep moving until you reach a balcony. There will
be a gravity panel to your right and a window to your left. Mio must use the
two gravity panels to get over the barrier and then throw a pink sphere towards
Zoe (hit it). Zoe catches the sphere and throws it at the window, causing it to
break and revealing a grapple point. Move into the building. Mio will pick up
the new sphere and aim it slightly to the right to break another window.
Alternatively,
you can use another sphere to throw it at the glass walkway above (as Zoe),
breaking it and possibly accidentally killing a group of civilians. This action
will earn you the "Are We The Baddies?" achievement, which references
one of the most heartbreaking moments in It Takes Two, the spiritual
predecessor to Split Fiction.
After
destroying the next window, the characters are reunited. On the floor, you will
find a hopscotch board where you can take a break. When you are done, break the
window on the left. Mio will pull herself to the gravity panel and lower a
ladder, which Zoe will climb. After that, there will be a door in front of you
that can be opened with Zoe's whip.
Go through
the tunnel. On the left, you'll see a subway passage, and ahead, a huge wall
with a model of the elephant from It Takes Two. Use Zoe's whip to rip off
several body parts, for which Mio will scold her. This brutal action will earn
you the "Rose's Best Friend" achievement, which refers to one of the
most emotional scenes from It Takes Two.
Enter the
subway and disable the force field by removing the panel and cutting the wires.
You will find yourself in a station with trains. To get through the tunnels,
you need to calculate the time precisely so that you can reach the end before
the train hits you. If you collide with a moving train, you will receive heavy
damage, and if you run over it, you will instantly die.
In the first
tunnel, the train will be moving from left to right, behind you. When you hear
it coming and see the headlights, you will need to dodge. In the second tunnel,
the train is moving towards you, and the path is too long. Use the grapple
points to fly under the train, and then run along the wall on the right.
Once you
reach the next station, use Mio's sword to break the lock. Keep moving using
grapples, wall runs, and climbs. You'll end up on the roof of a nightclub, and
the only way to get in is to disable the spinning fan using Zoe's whip and
Mio's sword attack.
When the fan
stops, jump into the shaft. As you fall, time will slow down, giving you the
opportunity to grab onto the ceiling lights and jump onto the platforms.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get to the dance floor, as you’ll need to
move along the suspended platforms. Zoe needs to grab onto the weight to lower
it and raise the nearest platform. Then jump onto it and attack with Mio’s
sword. Continue moving and enter the elevator to fight the boss.
Mr. Hammer
Mr. Hammer
is the right hand of the crime syndicate boss. He uses simple attacks, starting
with four spinning electrical spheres that move towards you. He will then throw
his hammer, creating an energy wave that you must jump over.
While the
hammer is stuck in the floor, Mio must attack it. When the gauge is empty, Zoe
will raise the hammer and deal a few blows, taking away a quarter of the boss's
health. At this point, Mio can use basic attacks for additional damage.
In the
second phase, Mr. Hammer will start swinging his hammer furiously. Continue to
avoid his attacks. When he finishes his round, he will hit the floor with his
hammer three times, creating three waves. After the third hit, the hammer will
get stuck again, and repeat the process to reduce the boss's health to half.
He will then
summon robotic dogs that will chase you and explode after their eyes glow red.
If they jump on Mio or Zoe, you will need to press the right keys. After you
deal with the robots, continue the battle with Mr. Hammer. This time, he will
fly around, hitting the floor with his hammer. The hammer will become more
durable and will charge up, flying straight at one of the girls. Avoid these
attacks. Make the hammer vulnerable with Mio's weapon, and then use Zoe's whip
to attack the boss.
After the
third hit on the boss, he will rise into the air, creating a lightning field
that will chase you. Stay near the edge to easily dodge the bolts. Mr. Hammer
will throw his hammer again, dealing significant damage. Attack the hammer,
then use it to hit Mr. Hammer.
After
winning, a cutscene will activate and you will slide along a destroyed glass
roof. Jump through the holes, move along the platforms and try to open the
door. Watch the cutscene.
Neon streets
After defeating
Mr. Hammer, you will escape the SRI pursuit and find yourself at the entrance
to an alley. As you exit, you will see a bubble that triggers the Farm Life
side quest.
To the left
is an elevator that will take you to the next area. Climb over the metal fence.
Regardless of whether you decide to do the side story or not, you will need to
climb up to the platform. At the top, cling to the cargo container and move
through it until you fall onto a platform with enemies.
Take them
out and take note of the gravity panel on the wall to the left. Have Mio move
there and Zoe can use the metal rods to break through the electric floor,
creating a path for Mio.
Once Mio
reaches the other side, Zoe can use the stick to destroy the window. Then use
the gravity sword to attack the node to activate the catapult, allowing Zoe to
jump over the wall.
Next, repeat
the same process with the moving panels and sticks. When Mio walks over the
sticks and is pulled to the gravity panels, attack the purple fasteners to
extend two cranes for Zoe. After that, Zoe uses her whip to remove the grate
blocking the panel.
You will see
cars flying over the city. Hook onto one of them, and it will take you to a
parking lot. Here you will be met by SRI operatives. Defeat them, unlock the
elevator and watch a cutscene in which the head of the syndicate will set a
huge Parking Meter on you - the new boss of the game.
Parking meter (parking attendant)
In this
episode, you will face the Parking Meter, a giant metal ball equipped with
lasers that constantly chases you around the parking complex. The beginning of
the battle will be simple - you just need to run and do not stop. Eventually,
you will reach the elevator, and this will lead to the beginning of the battle
with the boss.
At the very
beginning of the battle, the Parking Meter (or Parking Attendant) will behave
as follows:
Once the
attack cycle is complete, the Parking Machine will turn around, revealing a
purple gravity panel on the back. Mio must be pulled towards it! Once she is on
the sphere (the boss), she must jump over moving lasers and look for the eye.
The crashed cars on the platform will leave parts that Zoe can use to throw at
the eye. When Zoe hits the eye, a purple part on the boss's surface will be
revealed, which Mio must attack.
When the
boss loses a quarter of his health, he will get angry and increase his attacks:
Instead of
chaotic movements around the arena, you will need to watch the affected areas
and dodge or jump in time. After a series of laser attacks, the Parking Machine
will turn again, revealing a vulnerable panel. Repeat the damage phase: Mio is
pulled to the sphere again, Zoe throws parts into the eye, Mio attacks the
purple elements.
After this,
the boss will not only start defending with lasers, but will also add moving
energy spheres. He will continue to throw cars at Zoe. Throw batteries at him
and attack the eye until it opens up for Mio's attacks.
Once Mio is
inside the sphere, she will need to destroy three batteries. Each time Mio
destroys a battery, it will extend out and Zoe must rip it out. Repeat this for
all three batteries while dodging attacks.
After all
the batteries are destroyed, the main power source will be revealed. Attack it
with Mio's sword to destroy the metal ball. After that, the core will appear,
which will absorb the debris and form a new shell, starting to roll around the
arena, bouncing and releasing destructive pulses.
Use Zoe's
gravity whip to destroy all the armor pieces. Once all the defenses are down,
use the same whip to stop the Parking Machine, then run up and deliver the
finishing blow with Mio's sword.
Escape car
After
defeating the Parking Meter, you will need to escape from the SRI. Zoe drives
the car, and Mio shoots at enemies. Avoid collisions with police cars and other
vehicles. Unlike the previous episode, in which you used a turret, you can now
rotate the camera 360 degrees, shooting at targets both in front and behind.
You will also need to destroy minefields - if you run into them, the car will
take significant damage.
After you
pass the first section, you will jump over a ramp and land on a highway with
gravity beams. Here the game will tell you that you can jump up or to the
sides, moving to adjacent lanes. Mio will have a rocket launcher that will help
destroy enemies right in the air.
Move along
the track, jumping from one lane to another, until you reach a tunnel. Go
through it, destroying mines and enemies. When you get outside, there is
another jump, fly into the building and rush through several floors of the
office center before the car stops at a destroyed structure.
Life in a big city
After this
episode, you will find yourself at the pool. When you are ready, climb the
stairs to the upper level and find a grappling point for the hook to move to
the next area.
The first
balcony will have a bench for Mio and Zoe to rest on. If you rest on all six
benches in the game, you will receive the Sisters: A Tale of Two Besties
achievement , a reference to another game by the studio, Brothers: A Tale
of Two Sons.
After resting,
jump on the car to move to the roof next to the hotel. To get to the other
side, Mio must enter the toilet stall and Zoe will throw her across the
highway. It is important to calculate the moment so that the stall does not
crash into passing cars.
When you get
to the hotel, you can attack the robot at the reception, causing it to reboot
and destroy the attacking girl. After doing this, you will get the Robot
Revolution achievement .
Inverted Cityscapes
Here you
will move around the rooftops as a cyber ninja. Mio will be upside down most of
the time, so it is important to change perspective to navigate the space.
In the first
part of the scene, activate the gravity panel and climb up the pipes to the
side of the building to attack the purple node and activate the bridge. Once
both girls are on the bridge, the next area will be with cables and another
node that will lift Zoe up.
Next you
will have to get into the elevator, where the camera will turn over, creating
an unusual effect. Change gravity to move further and enjoy the views of the
city.
Gravity bike
A tense
sequence where you race on a motorcycle while being chased by SRI employees.
Mio controls the bike while Zoe uses her gravity whip to fight off enemies and
throw objects at SRI vehicles. During the chase, look out for gravity panels to
pull Mio in, as well as missiles from SRI vehicles that can be thrown away with
the whip.
When the
bike is destroyed, the girls will fall, but you will be able to grab the enemy
bikes and continue moving. On the skyscraper, continue the race, collecting
ammo and destroying enemies.
Head of a crime syndicate
The final
boss battle of the second episode is a tank that shoots missiles and tries to
run you over. In the first phase, the tank will shoot machine guns, launch fire
missiles, and even use an energy wave. Later, it will call in reinforcements in
the form of two flying machines.
Focus on attacking the tank without getting too close. When the tank is destroyed, it will transform into a huge tripod with pulsating legs that can crush you. Shoot the legs to destroy the boss.
The developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are preparing a large-scale update called “Breaking the Waves”, which will be available on March 19. Players can expect a new hero, new events, rewards, as well as changes to the seasonal system.
