Move to the right, destroying everything that might contain
supplies - vases, boxes and chests. Soon you will meet with High Inquisitor
Maddick and his companions, Kezka and Olen. Use LMB for a normal attack, mouse
wheel for the "Rising Crash" attack, and Shift + A or D for evasive
maneuvers. After the conversation, you will be sent to the fetid swamps of
Gravesip.
Make your way to the right and enter the nearest building.
There's a chest of supplies waiting for you in the attic. Back outside, use the
spacebar to climb the wooden ledges and reach the valuable loot to the left of
the entrance. Next, you'll exit the city.
Awaken the power of the Witch Stone and fight your first
enemy, the hungry wolf. Remember, you can explore the lower levels of the
terrain in search of secret paths and loot. Before climbing the fortress wall,
destroy the rock on the right - there is a hidden cache behind it.
After killing the rats and collecting the resources you found,
go up and find Ulfar. He will give you a whetstone and open access to the quest
"Wolf Attack".
Continue to the right, activate another Witch Stone. Soon you
will encounter the first elite enemy - Varg. He attacks in two ways: either he
rushes forward with a bite, having previously swung, or he howls, after which
three exploding areas appear under his feet. Halfway through the fight, he
becomes stronger, causing more damage.
The tactics are simple - dodge attacks by rolling behind him
and provoke him to dash into obstacles. After victory, return to Ulfar and
receive a well-deserved reward: two whetstones and one hundred gold.
Your game hub. Use the Witch Stone to level up your hero.
Trade with Ulfar if necessary, then leave the location.
Awaken the Witch Stone to activate the fast travel system.
Move left while fighting enemies. You can make an offering at the statue to
gain a talent point. Blue goblins attack in a series of three attacks - take
this into account in battle.
There is a chest in one of the rooms, but it is locked. You
will need a master key to open it. Down in the cave, there is also a locked
door. Go up and activate another Witch Stone.
The first bandits are easy to eliminate. The S key helps to
avoid arrows. The door to the house is locked. After going down from the
destroyed bridge, pick up the bandit's hood. Even lower is a fight with an
enemy, after which the sewer passage will open.
As you climb, kill the archer and the enemy with a shield -
use rolls to bypass the defense. Below you will find a chest. Move further down
the stairs to another witch stone.
Go left and destroy two strong enemies with shields. The
direct path is blocked - interact with the well.
Go down the stairs, go right. On the platform on the left is a
fragment of the map "Province", which will open the side quest
"Completing the Map". There is no hook yet, so go left.
You will encounter a Twisted Rat - it summons its kin, but is
not dangerous if you stay behind its back. Activate the lever and open the
stairs. After climbing, jump to the ledge on the right - there is a ring of
concentration.
Mages and traps appear on the surface. Overcome them, and
there is another witch stone ahead.
Trying to go right will lead to a meeting with the guards. You
need a pass signed by Commander Claiborne. Go left, to Gerald Boro, who will
offer the quest "Let me in". Go through the market, look into the
tavern and activate the witch stone.
There are two merchants at the market. If you have a master
key, return to the witch stone in the residential area and open the chest in
the ruins. Inside is a ring of energy.
Talk to the dressmaker Shirin, offer help - she will join the
Caravan as a merchant. At the end of the street, find the building of Commander
Claiborne - get the quest "Claiborne's Request".
After leaving the headquarters, move to the right. Access to
the dungeon has opened again. The grate on the right is locked, move to the
left. After going down, destroy the rats. Open a new sewer area and activate
the witch stone.
Nearby behind the bars are three bandits and a key. Nearby is
a chest behind a destroyed wall, requires a lockpick. Jump to the left, find
it, and return for the loot - inside is a diagram of the Stoneflesh potion. You
can also find a fragment of Wickham's map.
Move towards the witch stone. Use essence clots for upgrades.
Go left and jump over the platforms, avoiding the spiked pit. Defeat the
remaining opponents.
Wickham Market - Return
Back at the market, Pepper is waiting for you near the
entrance to the Commander's headquarters. Agree to help - the quest
"Pepper's Request" will begin. He will give you the key to the
abandoned mansion. After finishing the conversation with Claiborne, you will
receive 100 gold and two sets of armor, and the path to the monastery will
open.
Claiborne will refuse to let Gerald in, but after finishing
the conversation, you can go to the Crossroads and deliver the refusal. The
reward is 100 gold and 2 lockpicks. Gerald will join the Caravan.
Return to the residential area and open the left door from the
witch stone. Go down, push the box and overcome the barricades. Break the wall
and take the Luminary diagram. Return to the box, pull the lever and quickly go
up.
Open the door on the right, open the chest with a lockpick -
inside is the diagram of the "Thorn Set". Climb the stairs, get to
the top. Destroy the three hanging bodies - this will cause the appearance of
the Wandering Wight, the source of the curse. The battle is not difficult -
stay behind him. After defeating him, you will complete the task.
Move to the right of the room with the Wandering Wraith, jump
over the obstacle and go down the stairs to the bedroom. There is a battered
teddy bear lying on the floor - the one Pepper is looking for. Pick up the toy
and return to it to complete the task. As a reward, you will receive 100 gold
coins and a pair of lockpicks.
Crossroads
Go right along the road leading to the monastery. You will
encounter enemies on the way - eliminate them. In the pit nearby grows a
mandrake - a rare component for crafting. Activate the Witch Stone nearby to
create a respawn point.
The door on the right will be locked, so go up and enter the
ruined part of the monastery. After dealing with the enemies, go up the stairs
and activate the lever on the left side - it will open a hatch. Go back down,
go deeper into the ruins and move to the open passage on the left. Kill the
large rat, break all the boxes, and then pull another lever, opening the next
hatch. But first, go up the next stairs and find a fragment of the map of the
"Old Monastery", which lies on the right. A little higher on the left
side there will be a lever - it opens a door, providing a shortcut back to the
Witch Stone.
After going back down, move to the right and talk to the
captive Rhys. He will give you a side quest called "A Breath of
Freedom" - you will have to find the key to his cell. Go left until you
encounter the Bandit Chieftain. He is dangerous: attack him only after he
teleports or finishes his lunge. When throwing daggers, jump in time, and be
careful - there are traps around the arena. After defeating him, you will
receive a special material - elegant iron - and a master key. Return to Rhys
and free him - he will head to the Caravan camp. Nearby, in a chest to the left
of the battle site, there is a drawing of the wolf ring.
Now climb up the ruins again. There is a grate next to the
trap that activates when you step on it - open it. On the right you can find a
recipe for a dish - rabbit broth. Continue climbing, defeat the mage and find
another lever - it will open the passage out of the monastery. Before leaving the
building, climb to the very top and unlock the door leading to the Hunting
Trail. This will create another shortcut, which will be extremely useful -
there is a boss fight ahead of you, and if you fail, you can quickly return to
him.
The Overseer will appear on your way. When he thrusts his spear vertically into the ground, a destructive wave will spread out on both sides of him - jump to avoid it. During normal attacks, try to dodge behind his back, do not be greedy with strikes - maximum one at a time. After defeating him, you will receive a new move for the Crusader - "Heavy Strike".
After you
defeat the Overseer, head right, talk to Branuin , and activate the Witch
Stone. Continue right, collecting supplies and defeating enemies. When you
reach the large entrance to the temple, before you enter, be sure to talk to
Yrsa, who is sitting on the bench to the right. She will head to the Witch Tree
and open her jewelry shop.
Go inside
and activate the Witch Stone. Go down further. When the large pendulums appear
on the right, go down even lower to the left and go left. Several explosive
zombies and a skeleton with a crossbow are waiting for you on the ledge. Behind
them lies a fragment of the Abandoned Mausoleum map for Harold. Go down and
left. The hero will notice that the floor needs to be broken, but at the moment
you do not have the necessary ability.
On the left
side, you will encounter a Twisted Rat. After destroying it, you will be able
to activate the Witch Stone "Old Lift".
Use the lift
to go up and exit through the door on the left. Go left, fighting enemies, and
enter the first building. This is where the challenge begins. Sharp spikes will
appear on the ground, and you will have to jump and cling to the ledges to
avoid damage. After completing the challenge and reaching the tree that needs
to be destroyed, you will receive the Chalice Relic Active Skill, Ball Lightning.
Open the door above to create a shortcut to the graveyard in front of the
Overseer.
Return to
the mausoleum and head left. You will find yourself in the dungeon. Open the
grate near the elevator to create a shortcut to the dungeon where Rhys was. You
can't use the elevator itself yet. Go back a little to the right of the
elevator, go down and avoid the traps with flying knives. Pull the lever to
activate the elevator. Then move left from the elevator that has descended.
Jump up to find an empty flask in the chest, increasing your supply of flasks
for healing!
At the end
of the path you will find a mirror portal that will take you to Old Wickham .
Continue left and activate the Witch Stone "Reservoir".
Go left,
kill two enemies and take the key to the iron door. Climb a little higher and
move to the right, without going up the stairs. Kill three spiders and a
crossbowman, then pick up a strange rune. You will receive the side quest
"Unusual substance". To complete it, you will need to talk to Ulfar
in the camp.
The key to
the iron door will open the door on the left side of the City Sewers, which
will be marked with a "red lock". Go further, open the grate and you
will get to a new location. Go right until you encounter the boss Pepper .
This boss
appears when the big guy with the big shield and mace raises it. Pepper
periodically throws bombs at you, but they only fly forward. After hitting with
the huge mace, the big guy does a second attack. If you are behind him, he will
hit the other side with a spinning attack. When he is in front of you, he will
push you with his shield. This is especially dangerous towards the end of the
fight, when the bridge will collapse and pits with spikes will appear in its
place. If you fall into these pits, you will die instantly. The optimal tactic
is to dodge at the moment of impact. If the enemy raises his shield, try to get
behind him to attack after a series of powerful attacks! When the enemy
attacks, do a roll, then hit him and roll behind his back again to avoid the
second attack.
After
winning, you will unlock the special move "Ground Slam", which will
allow you to destroy planks and shaky floors. You will also have access to the
active skill "Ram Slam" for the Crusader. Open the grate on the right
and break through the floor (Press Space + F). Collect Pepper's treasure and
the additional mission "Bandit Leader" will begin.
Return to
Wickham Market and talk to Commander Claiborne. You will receive 400 gold coins
and the active skill "Heavenly Hammers" as a reward. Don't forget to
return to Ulfar to talk about the extraordinary substance if you found it
earlier. He will forge you a Scimitar , but you will need to bring Yakhont and
6 pieces of iron ore. You may already have all the resources. This is a great
one-handed weapon.
Give Irsa
the flask you found to increase the number of flasks for healing. Irsa is
located on the right side of the location.
Continue
your journey and return to the Abandoned Mausoleum to activate the Witch Stone.
Follow the right along the floor with pendulums. You can go upstairs where you
met Irsa and go right. There will be a dead end at the end, but destroying the
floor will bring you to the mandrake. You will also find a fragment of the map
" Graysweep Marshes " in the house.
Climb up
behind the pendulum and go left to a dead end with a closed grate. There's a
lever here that will open the grate, as well as a chest that requires a
lockpick. Another grate will open nearby, and you'll meet the Talking Skull.
Agree to help him to start the Talking Skull side quest.
Move right,
go up and find a way out of the Abandoned Mausoleum, where there will be an
altar. To get a skill point, you need 5 Blueberries, but you can't go any
further. Go up the stairs, pull the lever and go left to find the Witch Stone
"Mill". There will also be a cat here that you can pet.
Don't forget
that you can buy lockpicks from Harold! You've opened a shortcut to the
location to the right of the Abandoned Mausoleum.
There are two
places in the Abandoned Mausoleum where you can break through the floor. The
one that interests you is on the right side, on the level above the main one.
You will get into a tunnel where the undead and a spider will be waiting for
you. Defeat them and pull the lever. Break the wall on the right to find a
ladder that will lead to a new enemy guarding a gold chest.
Next, break
the floor below and you will get to the area with spikes. Go through the area
to the left to find a gold chest that requires 2 lockpicks. Inside there will
be an epic weapon. Continue to the right to activate the Witch Stone.
Continue right
past the door that needs two seals. This is the witch's lair. Go up the stairs
and on the right you'll find a purple item - a piece of the Forgotten Catacombs
map. Continue slightly left and up, jump onto the stairs that were previously
inaccessible. First, jump to the skeleton crossbowman and find a blue item on
the ledge - a rune-covered arm bone.
Jump down,
collect the item, and destroy the wall on the right. There will be a dead end
at the end, but you can go up the stairs by going left and find a lever that
will start the elevator and create a shortcut. Go back a little and fight the
Blood Guard, which is a stronger version of the Overseer. This enemy can attack
with a huge spear at long range and strike from above.
After
defeating him, you will receive Blood Seals and the active skill "Wall of
Fire". Return to the Witch Stone and place one seal. Continue to the right
past the two pendulums. When the pendulums swing to the left, perform two
somersaults in a row. Go down the elevator and defeat the Plague Guard on the
left, receiving the Plague Seal and the active skill "Poisoned
Knife".
Continue right
to find the Catacomb Depths Witchstone. Break the jars on the right to find the
Rune-Covered Ribs.
Return to the
door and place both seals. The boss in this fight is quite simple. Stay close
to him, avoid attacks from the front and back, and keep attacking. Dodge the
purple clots and do not stand in their area. In the second phase, continue to
attack the spider part of the boss, dodging the purple clots and jumping over
the blue energy moving along the floor. When the boss disappears, kill the
spiders, but be careful not to stand in the place where the Necromancer returns
to the arena.
After
winning, talk to Branuin . You will be rewarded with supplies and the active
skill "Chaos Sparks".
Also, you
have found all three bones - the arm, leg and ribs. Return to the Talking
Skull, place the bones in the cauldron and defeat the Dark Mage, completing the
quest.
