The Devil in Me Guide

The Devil in Me by Supermassive Games has a branching narrative that influences who survives and dies among the main characters. Both saving and killing all the characters will bring you certain achievements. Given the many important decisions and plot twists, even killing all the characters is quite difficult. Therefore, we have prepared a guide in which we tell you what needs to be done so that all the heroes of The Devil in Me die. As you can see, there will be spoilers below!

How to kill everyone in The Devil in Me

Don't take an inhaler

After Erin explores the hotel in the dark with her microphone, she will be locked in a room. Panicking, she finds herself face to face with a figure who will offer her an inhaler. Instead, attack the stranger. Successfully complete two QTEs and you will end up hitting the attacker with the sharp end of the microphone. However, the stranger will recover and stab Erin in revenge.

In the incinerator, select the door

Once Charlie is trapped in the incinerator, he will have two options: break open the door or lift the grate. Choose to break the door. When another choice appears, select the door a second time. You'll realize that he can't open the door, and as the flames get more intense, Charlie will end up being burned alive.

Don't press the reverse button

After a failed plan to capture Du'Meth, Kate and Jamie find themselves in a room with a moving glass wall. She will start moving towards Jamie. Whatever your choice in the conversation, the critical moment is the QTE where you can press the button. Do not press the button - either wait for the timer to expire, ormove away from her.

Depending on whether Jamie has a screwdriver, it depends on whether she survives in a vice or not. But the most important thing here is that we don't need to kill Kate just yet.

On the roof do not save Jamie

If Jamie survived the crushing wall, don't worry, we can still kill her later. You need to wait for Du'Met to chase Kate across the roof.

After Keith performs a lot of QTEs to break out of Du'Meth's clutches, you'll find that the enemy is somehow holding Jamie on the rooftop. Kate must decide to run away. Jamie will then lose the fight against Du'Met and die.

"Help Mark"

There are only two characters left. After Mark manages to turn on the lighthouse, he will see Kate approaching the house. However, Du'Meth appears behind him before we are given control of Kate.

Go to the lighthouse and go up the stairs. Interact with the door to hear the noise. Open the door and then, when given a choice, be sure to select "help". It is revealed to be Du'Met in Mark's jacket.

Agree with Du'Met's plan

When Mark wakes up, he will be in a small room where he sees Kate on the bed being tortured by Du'Met. He will then be shown a video from Joseph Morello, the man who posed as Du'Met and smuggled them to the island. He says Mark should do the same for Du'Meth's next group of victims if he wants to save?? Kate and myself.

You need to agree with this and make a call to new visitors. Do not raise the alarm and go according to the plan to the end. You will see several videos showing Mark reluctantly fulfilling his role. Then Kate and Mark escape on the ferry as the credits roll...

The curator will do his usual summary and even mention that the two are safe, but don't worry, there's a key post-credits scene ahead. It will end with the death of both Mark and Kate, and you will successfully kill everyone in The Devil in Me.
