Walkthrough Song of Horror: Episode 1

Song of Horror is a third-person episodic horror game where the main characters explore haunted places.


prelude. A Friday Like Any Other

Daniel's apartment

September 25, 1998


After the intro video, do the following:

  1. Look around the apartment.
  2. Visit the room on the left and right, having studied the maximum of objects.
  3. When you re-enter the office, the phone will ring.
  4. Pick up the phone and watch the cut-scene.

Hasher Mansion

September 26, 1998


Come inside the house. Explore several rooms. Go through the double door on the right, up to the stairs, and immediately follow into the room on the left. You will enter the kitchen with a long table. Go through the door that had the envelope on it and open the mysterious door nearby to trigger a cutscene.

Episode 1. The Husher Mansion

September 28, 1998


Now you will play as Sophie. Head to the kitchen, but the door Daniel went through will be locked. Open the door opposite her and find a box of matches on a cabinet in a small vestibule. Open the door on the left. Remove the strange drawing from the refrigerator. Examine the sparkling wire lying on the floor, and take the metal ring from the table. One of the doors is locked, and the other leads to a pantry. On the far shelf is a jar of oil .

Return to the room with the wire and hear strange sounds outside the door. Approach it and hold RMB to eavesdrop. From now on , you can use the card . Press M and you will see all the interesting places - two doors that require a key, and a wire in the kitchen, marked with a "gear".


Return to the main corridor. Not far from the clock, on the cabinet is a dirty note . Go to the front door. On the right there are two doors. Open the right one and from the small vestibule go through the door on the right-bottom. This will take you to a garage with a motorcycle. There is an old metal box on the table. Take it and inspect the boiler. It requires electricity to operate.

Go to the corridor and go through the double door at the stairs to the room with the piano. Open ??believe on the right to get into the library. Examine the far table, in particular the drawer. Oil it to get the key . Go to the kitchen (on the way you will need to answer the phone) and use the key on the door that Daniel went through. This room won't have the mysterious door we saw earlier. But there is a screwdriver on the table. On the wall where the door was, there is a note from Julia and Saul .


Get out of here and press the E key to close the door (periodically you need to press the "Space"). Cling to the door by pressing RMB to understand that there are monsters behind it. Go to the corridor. Now you can go up to the second floor. So do it.

Second floor of Hasher's house

On the chair on the left is a black and white photograph of Katherine, Hasher's wife, and his children, Julia and Saul . Rotate the photo to see the words "Do not look at this photo" on the back. Expand the picture and see a scary face. Use the key to open the door closest to the stairs. There are monsters behind the next door. Try turning on the light with the switch to the right of the door. No electricity.

Open the next door on the second floor and take the dirty rag from the sink. The next door on the right is blocked, the one on the left is covered in black mold. YesThe flax right door leads to the pantry. At its end, there are footprints on the floor. Apparently, there is a hidden door here, but so far it cannot be opened.

Exit to the balcony through the door at the end of the second floor. There is a spotlight nearby, there is a battery near it, but you need a cable to connect the two devices. Remove the charcoal tongs from the grill. At the far end of the balcony there is a table with a note of best wishes. Return to the corridor of the second floor and go right. Take the second letter from Isaac from the cabinet on the left. Open the first door on the left and take the plan for the elevator in the Hasher mansion from the cabinet . The door nearby does not open, and behind it the crying of a child is heard.

Go to the left side of the second floor. Take the garage door control device from the table in the corner. Examine the door near the table. The key is stuck in the keyhole.

Turn on the electricity

Go down to the first floor. In the second kitchen with the sparkling wire, use a dirty rag to wipe off the water. The wire will stop sparkling. Run to the garage with the boiler (the door near the entrance) and try to use the remote control. Again, electricity is required. Return to the corridor and examine the large clock near the front door. Since you've mopped the floor, is the clock now running??alo. Go through the right of the two doors at the beginning of the house. Open the door at the bottom left of the screen to then go down to the basement.

There is a safe in the basement. Remove the hint note from him. It lists everything you need to know in order to get the safe password. Go to the back of the basement to find the fuse box. In inventory, combine the screwdriver and the metal box to get fuses . Solve the puzzle by placing the fuses in the correct order:

Go to the garage where the boiler is. Use the gate control, but the doors won't open because water is falling on the panel. Examine the sign hanging on the wall to find out: for an emergency shutdown, you need to hold down the blue button for 4 seconds. Do this and you will see that the water is gone. Use the remote to raise the gate.

Look through the rear window and pull out the folder. Look around the rest of the backyard. There is a door here, but it requires a special key.

Go back inside the house and open the kitchen door where the wire sparked. Behind it you will find a pantry with firewood . Take the wood and place it in the living room fireplace on the ground floor where the piano is. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to set fire to it.

Climb to the second floor, when suddenly something will chase Sofia. She hides in the nursery. Climb into the wardrobe closet and calm Sophia. Press "Space" after the heart beats. If you press the key correctly, the circle will turn white. Remove the second picture of Saul from the wall. The age of the boy is indicated on its back - 7 years. Go to the balcony and use the cable found in the car to connect the battery to the spotlight. Use a spotlight to remove the blackness from the door. To do this, you need to use the LMB to focus, but as soon as the spotlight starts blinking, release the LMB to cool it down, and then immediately hold down.

We collect all the dolls

Go through the same door on the second floor. Pick up from the cabinet on the left gold key . Enter Julia's room ahead. Listen to the recording of Julia and Saul on the table. Examine the nightstand by the bed to find superglue . Enter the toilet nearby. Examine the toilet, then use the barbecue tongs to get a dirty doll out of there. Open the door to Saul's room, but there will be an ambush here. Sophia's story is complete.

Choose a new hero. If you enter Saul's room again, you will die. The belongings of the deceased are in front of the door to Saul's room (marked on the map with an exclamation point). Pick up things, go left from the balcony door to find a door with a stuck key. In inventory, combine the metal ring and the superglue, then use the glue ring on the door to open it. You will enter a storage room. Here you will find the third letter from Isaac. Also pick up a metal hook . Go back, as black mold suddenly appears. Run back to the place where the door was opened. Hide under the table in the lower left corner of the screen. Calm down the hero.

Follow to the car and to the backyard, where the locked door is located.

Examine the sheets on the wall and enter the door on the left. Find Masha's note on the table. Take the orange doll from the table on the left. Exit to the corridor and go through the next door, hitting the laundry room. Find a can of solvent here. Don't put your hands in the bathroom or you'll die. Return to the corridor and open the far door. It was locked on this side, and now you have created a shortcut back to the house.

Return to the living room with the piano on the first floor. Throw in the wood, if you haven't already done so, pour in the solvent and light the fireplace with matches. Go to the second floor, open the far door on the right to get into the pantry with a secret passage. Use a hook at the end of it (you will first need to close the door) to lower the ladder. Climb up to the attic.

Go to the back and see Julia crying. Take another folder from her hands (the other you found inside the car). Get out through the window to the roof, confirming the action. You need to jump into the window located behind Julia. Climb down another ladder and enter the house. You will enter the bedroom. Go to the bed and take a note from the bedside table stating that people cannot leave this house. Take another blue doll from the mirror.

Exit the bedroom through the door by the bed to find Isaac's fourth letter in the bathroom. The bedroom has a third door. Open it (it was locked on this side) to create a shortcut to the second floor. Go to the basement and open the safe with code 4798. Inside you will find a green doll .

Climb to the second floor and open the nearest door. Turn on the light to enter the room where the monsters were. Having done this, you will be able to listen to another audio recording , and then pick up the red doll from the bed.

Puzzle with dolls

Interact with the children's house in the children's room on the second floor. It is necessary to arrange the dolls correctly:

  1. The blue doll is the bathroom in the center.
  2. Dirty doll - lower left room.
  3. Red doll - dining room on the first floor, in the center.
  4. The green doll is a room with books.
  5. Orange doll - kitchen (lower right room).

You will find an old key . Go to the dining room on the first floor (after going down, open the right narrow doorbelieve). A scarecrow sits at the table. From under his hand, take out a piece of old sheet . Do not enter the room where Daniel left, otherwise the hero will die.

Go to the kitchen, where the wire sparkled, to remove another piece of the old sheet from the scarecrow. Look for the third piece of the sheet on the scarecrow sitting at the table on the second floor. Walk to the left of the balcony door to find a table next to the door that had the key stuck in earlier. Look for the fourth piece of the sheet in the bathroom next to the bedroom that you opened recently (on the second floor) when you went down from the roof. Burn the dirty doll by taking it from the house.

Now go to where Daniel went at the beginning of the game. Now there is a door here. Go down and open the far door to save the hero.
