When you get to the Clown Museum, you will find figures of mechanical ballerinas. Let's talk about what they provide.
Somewhere nearby, perhaps in a barn, you can find mechanisms that should be inserted into some ballerinas. To open the barn, one of the characters must stand on the shield icon to the right of it. Once you get these mechanisms, interact with each ballerina. Some just need to be launched, while others must first be inserted into the mechanism, and then launched.
As soon as all the ballerinas are launched, when interacting with any of them, the approximate dialog box will simply not appear. So the puzzle is solved. And now, when interacting with the door on the left, you can ask the clown to let you in. He will open the door and won't even attack you.
