Murder Mystery is a role-playing mini-game that stands out for its simplicity as well as addictive gameplay. There are not many mechanics here, but all of them will make you immerse yourself in the gameplay.

The goal of the players

Sixteen players appear on the map, for each of which roles are allocated:

• One Maniac;
• One Detective;
• Fourteen civilians.

To complete the game, you just need to figure out the maniac and kill him with a bow. But not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance.

The advantage of the Detective is that he has a bow from the very beginning, with which he can eliminate the threat. But the matter is complicated by the fact that the bow has a "cooldown": you have to wait a while before the next shot (three to five seconds).

It's even worse for casual players. In order for civilians to get a bow, it will take ten gold. This mineral spawns in many parts of the map, so it will not be difficult for you to find it, but it is unlikely that you will be able to collect the required amount quickly.

The goal of the maniac is to kill all the players and not get caught by the detective. If you have the honor of being a maniac, then it is best to separate the players before killing. Look for single gamers, or try to eliminate players where there are few of them.

If the killer was destroyed by a civilian after accumulating gold, then he will be called a "Hero".

Onion

It also happens that the detective dies during the game. At this moment, a bow falls out of its texture: use the compass in your inventory, which from now on will point to the location of the weapon in order to find it.

When you find and pick up the bow, you will be given the unspoken title of the second Detective. But if you purchased a bow as a civilian for gold, then after your death the weapon does not drop out.

Roles

The chance that you spawn as a killer or a detective is equal for everyone, but not always. If the game is designed for sixteen games?If only thirteen have entered, then the chance will increase. But if there are less than eight players, the game will not start.

Additional functions

On many servers where Murder Mystery is present, there are several chips. For example: for one gold we get a random potion. But where to find these potions? All over the map there are "cauldrons" where you can buy these potions..

There is also a function that will help you determine if a given player is a killer or not: you need to find a snowball "shop" and buy a snowball for one gold. Select any player you want to test and throw a snowball at him. At this point, you will receive a message in the chat whether this player is a killer or not.
