XDefiant executive producer Mark Rubin addressed players via social media following the game's recent open stress test. He expressed satisfaction with the results of the test and said that an exact release date for the shooter will be announced soon.
Rubin noted that the testing helped the Ubisoft San Francisco team identify key aspects for fixes and tweaks. Among other things, XDefiant will include fixing the Delta-01 bug, eliminating lag and improving the refresh rate of the health indicator over characters.The team will also focus on improving the player matching system to ensure matches have the lowest ping possible.
XDefiant, developed by the former Call of Duty creators, will be coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The initial release of the game was scheduled for last October, but it had to be postponed indefinitely.
