Chapter 1

Chapter 3

Open the drawer in Mendez's bedroom

Solving the puzzle

Approach the wall with the puzzle and interact to insert two lithography stones. Place the stones in the right places so that the symbols on the stones match the symbols on the wall.

Tribunal Hall

For the first gate, the player will need to ring two snake gongs, and for the second gate, three steps of eagle gongs will be required. When players pick up the lantern, the back wall of the room will fall down to reveal a giant drill, which will chase players back through the gate, which has closed and locked itself again.

When leaving the first gate with a lantern, the player will need to ring three eagle gongs, and when entering the second gate, three fish gongs. Finally, grab the last barricade and exit the hall.

Treasure: Golden Bottle

In the treasure room, go along the corridor until you find a silver bottle. As you pass the gate in the hall, Ada will say that it looks like something could fit in the slot next to the gate. Take the silver bottle and place it in the hole. Be prepared for a fight, because the moment the player takes the silver bottle, the light will go out and you will have to fight off the armor.

When the bottle is in place, the gate will lower and access to the deeper parts of the treasury will open. Take the silver bottle and go down, placing the bottle in the next gap between the silver and gold gates. The silver gate lowers, revealing the room where the golden bottle is kept. Again, when you pick up this bottle, you will have to fight the armor again.

After all the enemies are destroyed, leave the room and exchange the silver bottle for a gold one. This will lower the golden gate on the right and allow you to move to the next segment of the room. In the next area, swap the gold bottle for the silver one for the last time. This will lower the silver gate and allow you to exit the treasury with the golden bottle in your hand.

Collection Room: Blue Butterfly

The final component of the suppressant can be found after players cross the courtyard and gain access to the part of the castle walls where Leon had to flee from El Gigante in the main story. Follow the castle walls back to the collection room, a room filled with several types of insects and animals.

Players will find a blue butterfly in a case just in the room to the right. Read the clues in the notes around the room to find out the combination to the lock, or simply interact with the butterfly case and set the lock to "Stag Beetle-Skull-Crocodile". The lock will open and players will be able to obtain the blue butterfly.

Ada and Luis will now have the components to recreate the cure needed to suppress the parasites in Leon and others, and players will complete the chapter.
