Slum Saint in Dragon's Dogma 2 is a side quest in the Slums area that tasks the Arisen with uncovering the crimes of the Abbess of the Merciful Hand. He is faced with the task of finding and confirming evidence of her guilt, and then turning to the guards of the capital to save sick people from torment.

To start the task, you should visit the Slums area in Vernworth. You may need to complete another side quest from the area, "On the Edge of History", where you need to help the priest find the missing boy Malcolm.

After visiting the Gracious Hand, the Arisen will overhear a conversation between the beastmen and Abbess Elena about Lubomir's condition. If such a conversation does not happen, you should complete the mentioned task and return. Approach Elena and talk to her.

Elena will ask the Risen to find an extremely important ingredient and go after it. Select the "I can deliver what you need" option to begin the task. Please note that the task has a time limit, so try to complete it as quickly as possible to save Lyubomir.

During the quest, the Risen needs to obtain miamite for Elena. After this, you can learn from Lyubomir about the oddities in the hospital and investigate what is happening, and then contact the guards.

To find miasmite for Elena, bring her three of these stones. Miasmith contains the soul of a ghost, and to find it, you need to wait out the night in the city, resting in an inn or on a bench. When phantoms appear, attack them; Chance of dropping miasmite is approximately 50%. If you're unlucky and the miasmite doesn't drop, go to another enemy location.

The first location where you can find miasmite is located in the northeast of the capital. Leaving the city through the eastern gate, you should move straight ahead until it intersects with the bridge. Almost immediately you will hear the characteristic laughter and howl, and discover ghosts. You will have to fight them and other enemies to get the miasmite.

Another common place where spirits appear is located east of the first point. At the fork, turn right and continue until the next intersection, then go straight. Follow the left side of the road and when you see a path going left, turn onto it. Walk forward a little and you will come across a group of ghosts.

Miasmith 3

Another point is located north of the second location. Just follow the path further and you'll soon find some more enemies.

If all three places did not allow you to get the required amount of miasmite, rest by the fire or anywhere else until the next night. The monsters will appear again and can be cleared again.

Give the ingredient to Elena

Returning to the Slums, you give Abbess Elena the three shards of miasmite that she asked for. Elena cannot thank you enough financially and offers to take you on a “tour” of the Gracious Hand as a token of gratitude. You agree to further develop the quest.

Elena takes you to the church and shows you Lyubomir, one of the patients. After the abbess leaves, Lubomir turns to you and tells you about the mysterious disappearances of patients, and then their return with screams and moans. Lyubomir asks for help to figure this out.

Look around at the Gracious Hand

After talking with the patient, head towards the exit of the church. Before you even have time to open the door, Sister Lottie will call out to you. She will express sympathy for Lyubomir and talk about rumors: if the patient does not feel better, he is sent to the basement.

Return to Lyubomir and report on the conversation. He will tell you that he has already shared his suspicions with the sentries. The guards are ready to come and arrest the abbess, but to do this they need to collect evidence confirming her crimes.

Find evidence

After finishing your conversation with Lyubomir, rest in the hotel or on a nearby bench to wait until nightfall. After this, you will have to explore the basement for clues, and then visit several NPCs to get more information about the clues you found.

If you don't collect all the evidence, you will get a bad outcome in which the criminal will not be arrested.

When night falls, return to the Church of the Gracious Hand. Go inside and turn left to go down to the basement. There you will find a chest and supplies. Go to the far door, where you will see a ward with patients.

In the ward, examine two patients: the girl asks for medicine, and the man asks Jean and Bruno for help. Go into the room behind the curtain. Explore the left side of the room. Among the books you will find a note about treatment that you need to pick up. Examine the table; on the shelf above it you will find medicine without a tag.
