How to play and complete Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing game. You can do anything here: travel, build relationships, invade private property, hack and explore Night City.

Be Curious

When interacting with anyone, be curious and ask any optional questions highlighted in blue. You will learn a lot more about the world around you in which you will spend in-game time.

Choice of Life Path (past V)

At the beginning of the game, you must choose one of three backstories - Nomad, Street Child, Corporate. In any other game, these roles would be perceived by you as classes, but in CYBERPUNK 2077 they are not. They're just backstories, each of which is about how V hooked up with Jackie Wells and Dexter.

Each has its own introductory prologue mission, but this does not affect anything else. The only difference is the starting quest and the ability to choose some dialogue phrases.

V leveling

Attribute and ability points allow you to buy various perks. Don't forget to distribute them to expand your character's abilities.

• Attribute points give passive skills. These include ??silt, intellect, reaction, technique and composure.
• Ability points allow you to unlock skills in the skill tree. Each characteristic has 3 skill trees.

If you want to play in stealth, go for Coolheaded, which increases critical damage, resistances, and detection time. If you want to unlock more advanced stealth moves, spend an ability point on the Hidden Dragon perk. You will be able to perform non-lethal attacks from the air against opponents who are unaware of your presence.

Do you want to open any doors freely? Upgrade your strength and technique (the latter is needed to break electronic locks). Upgrade your intelligence to increase the capacity of your cyber deck and the effectiveness of cyber implants. Skills also affect some minor dialogue phrases.

Shoot me in the head

In any other game: Headshots kill the enemy in one hit. In Cyberpunk 2077, headshots just deal massive damage. Upgrade your weapon, invest points in any skill related to the weapon you use.Use, and look for perks that increase damage. Over time, you will level up to such an extent that you can kill enemies with one headshot.

Side quests

From the very beginning of the game, you will begin to receive phone calls and text messages with tasks in Night City. Side quests will appear throughout the game.

You can do them right away or leave them for later. The list will be constantly updated. Do not worry, the tasks will not go anywhere and will not be canceled. However. some quests must be completed before the point of no return to unlock access to additional endings.

Save

Cyberpunk 2077 has bugs. To avoid crashes and loss of progress, we advise you to periodically save the game. Especially after difficult tasks. For a quick save, enter the menu and press F5.

Quick scan

We recommend using quick scan (TAB) every time you enter a new building, room, or street. It will be easier for you to navigate and interact with various objects.
