YouTube Premium subscribers can get 3 months free access to Stadia Pro

Google has moved away from Stadia, but at the same time prepared a promotion for new Stadia Pro subscribers
YouTube Premium subscribers can get 3 months free access to Stadia Pro

Google has launched a new promotion that will be of interest to fans of freebies and free games. YouTube Premium subscribers can take advantage of its terms (for example, in Russia the price is 199 rubles, in Ukraine - 99 UAH). Anyone can now get 3 months free access to all the games offered by the Stadia Pro cloud gaming service. True, this does not apply to already registered Stadia Pro users.

There's a good chance that some users who choose to limit YouTube ads through a Premium subscription have already fiddled with Stadia Pro, but I don't think there are many. Therefore, a three-month free subscription is a solid amount of time to see if cloud gaming is right for you. That's two months longer than the regular Stadia trial.

Naturally, not everything is so simple. In addition to the limitation for already registered Stadia users, Google also says that only residents of the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom can take advantage of this promotion. You can do this until January 31, 2022, and activate your free subscription until February 14.

You can access games at higher resolutions in the Stadia Pro libraries, although the current list of free games is, let's say, amateurish. There are modern titles like Hitman, small indie projects like Floor Kids, and classic Killer Queen Black variants. As for new releases, you still have to pay for them. You also have access to games like Destiny 2 and Super Bomberman R Online.
