Slitterhead developer Bokeh has shared more details about their upcoming action horror game.
In response to questions submitted by fans on social media, the team consisting of CEO and creator Keiichiro Toyama, game director and technical director Junya Okura, and chief operating officer and producer Kazunobu Sato revealed some details. Among other things, gamers learned that the game spans several genres and will appeal to even those who do not like horror.
I wanted a game that was fun to play through action, but that didn't just revolve around killing enemies. It defies the mind, making players reluctant to engage in certain battles. Players are in for surprises in various parts of the game.
There is a horror aspect that I want to add even if the game is more action oriented. The game has slow and fast moments. I would like to include some elements of horror in the slower parts, balancing with moments of insane action.
In addition, Toyama stated that he has no plans to return to the Silent Hill series at the moment, but hopes that it "someday" will happen.
Someday I want to do something like a classic psychological horror. Something like Silent Hill.
