Battlefield 2042 devs are phasing out Hazard Zone support

DICE intends to end support for the Hazard Zone mode in its Battlefield 2042 game. As the developers themselves stated, they failed to attract the audience to this activity, and therefore there is no point in developing it in the future.

Nobody is going to turn off the mode, but he will not receive new content either. Instead, the authors intend to concentrate on adding new maps, operatives, weapons, rebalancing and technical changes.

By the way, we will see the first of them very soon - at the start of the first season, scheduled for June.
